If you’re not meshing with your PT program for any reason, you may wonder if you can transfer to another physical therapy school. Perhaps you don’t like the curriculum or you realize you want to be closer to family.
Either way, most programs don’t directly address whether they accept transfers on their websites. A few programs outright say they don’t, and it’s likely that most schools follow this pattern. While all PT programs must cover the same basic topics, they each arrange their classes in different sequences and have different teaching styles.
One program that does accept transfers is the University of St. Augustine. There may be a handful of others, so if this is something you’re interested in, you should contact the individual DPT program to inquire.
