What Questions Should You Ask During Your PT School Interview?

It’s one of the most nerve-wracking parts of the interview. Usually taking place at the end, after you’ve answered several questions, the interview flips the script and asks, “Do you have any questions for us?”

You know the question is coming if you’ve prepared for the interview, or even if you’re attending a PT program’s open house or information session, but what should you ask?

First, do your research! Make sure you’ve read the physical therapy program’s entire website and any promotional materials ahead of time. If they have an information session, pay attention to it. Don’t ask any questions they’ve already covered. This can make you look unprepared or uninterested in the PT school. Instead, ask for more details about things they’re clearly proud of, or things they don’t mention at all.

Check out this guide I’ve created with dozens of questions you should ask, as well as common interview questions to prepared to answer, and a template for creating a thank you note to admissions after your interview.
